Mr. Gurung is a master mind of Destination Manang 2010 campaign and he is contributing his full time and effort to make a grand success of the campaign of Destination Manang 2010. This campaign is promoting Manang district as their popular trekking destination among foreign trekkers as well as domestic trekkers. Therefore, more and more national and international trekkers are visiting the popular Thorung-la pass.
Likewise, Mr. Gurung is also involved in local school improvement projects as well as some other developemental programmes in the local area.
